Who won? The very very rich, large corporations, overpriced military contractors, and the assorted beneficiaries of corruption and greed. This was a debate, after all, between two candidates who belong, heart and soul, to those groups; the differences between the two are largely illusory or trivial, and any candidates who actually have the potential to stand up to those groups were — as always — deliberately excluded. Everyone else lost. That includes you and me.
Oh, interestingly: the Green Party candidate was outside, protesting at not being allowed to participate. They called the police and had her dragged off. Seriously! Oh, but, hey, we have to vote for Obama because Romney might use to police to silence dissidents.
