Oh and just to answer your question, David, it would be better for the military to neither promote rebellion against God or submission to God. It is not the military's job to do either one. The US Military should not be acting like the medieval Crusaders. Sorry, David, this is not a Christian theocracy. It would be a very good idea if my fellow Christians stop being stupid and morally depraved enough to think that this is a Christian theocracy and that it's somehow the Government's job to enforce national piety. Because hey..not everyone in this country is Christian and they all have the same exact rights that us Christians do and if the wannabe Christian theocrats can't respect that fact that it would be a jolly good idea if they found some other country to inhabit because they no longer belong here. Last time I checked we Christians do not get special rights just because we're Christians or because we're presently the majority. Considering the amount of hours the right wing spends worrying about the false threat of "Muslims are imposing sharia law" in this country it would be a bloody good idea if those same Christians didn't try to impose the actual threat of Christian law on this country. Jesus said "Render unto the Lord what is the Lord's and render unto Caesar what is Caesar's." Well..in this country the US military belongs to Caesar, David, not the Lord.

How about respect for everyone's rights, David, along with what Mike suggested. Or should the US military continue to act like the Christian version of Afghanistan's military under the Taliban? Or do you have a problem with everyone being treated equally, David?
