Jesus Christ said we must be born again or we will not enter the kingdom of heaven(John3:3). There is no exception. The path to the ressurection goes straight through the cross. There is no way around it. We must crucify our flesh with its desires and passions in order to walk with Christ(Gal.5:24). That is why Jesus said to pick up your cross and follow Him(Mark8:34). The first step to salvation is repentance.We must turn aside from rebellion against God through sin and, with godly sorrow, admit our guilt of violating God’s holy laws. What stands in the way of that for most people is pride. If we lay down our pride and humble ourselves to repent then we are prepared to accept Christ as our new king.

Then we must believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ rose from the dead(Rom.10:9). We must believe in God’s promise of the ressurection through Christ by faith. If we do these three things we will be saved.

Make no mistake about the message of the Gospel. It is the only way in which you can be saved(Acts 4:12). Allah cannot save anyone. No Hindu god can save anyone. Buddha cannot save anyone. There is salvation through Christ Jesus and Him alone. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh(1 Tim.3:16) who came to die and pay for our sins upon the cross and He alone is risen as the firstfruits of the resurrection.

And there are ways to test ourselves to know that we are saved(2 Cor.13:5). Salvation will bring dramatic change in a person.Would you believe someone if they walked up to you at the grocery store and said they were just run down by a cattle truck going 100mph? Of course not. They would be dead or in the hospital. There is no way they could have an encounter with a speeding truck and not be dramatically changed. Which is bigger? A cattle truck or God? Anyone who says they are saved and continues to live like the unsaved is indeed still unsaved(1 John 3:10). The change or “fruit” as Jesus calls it in Matthew chapter 7, that designates those who are His, will be obedience. Obedience is the fruit of repentance (Matt. 3:8). A person’s level of faith in God is directly proportional to their level of obedience to God.To be a servant of Jesus Christ you must obey Him as obedience is the very nature of servitude. In fact. Jesus even refers to this in Luke 6:46. “Lord” means master. If Jesus is not your Lord He is not your Savior. Obedience to Christ is the evidence of your salvation. Jesus even says that those who do not obey Him do not love Him(John 14:24)

The boycott is to wake up the Christians in Houston. The Devil is overtaking the culture in that city and Christians are failing to stand up for righteousness sake. Granted, there are some who are and to them we say may God bless you and multiply your efforts. But there are far too few. Christians need to gt out of their air-conditioned pews and preach the Gospel to every creature with boldness as Christ commanded. Jesus Christ is returning soon and we are running out of time. Do not forget this scripture in Proverbs 15:17
” He who justifies the wicked,
and he who condemns the just
Both of them alike are an
abomination unto the Lord.”
Christians cannot justify the wicked by voting for or not turning out to vote against an open homosexual. Christians cannot condemn the just by allowing a gigantic murder mill to be built in their city. God holds Christians responsible as watchmen over their own city.
