Are Muslims More Godly than Christians?
In many Muslim countries, Sharia law is enforced. Rather than secular, made-up laws, these people follow their false god’s holy book. Why do Christians ignore theirs?
This story is about a month old, but provides one of many examples we can find of Muslims following the dictates of their false Scriptures:
A man who blinded a woman in an acid attack after she spurned his marriage proposals has been sentenced to the same punishment, in a literal application of Iran’s sharia eye-for-an-eye laws.
Tehran province criminal court ordered Majid Movahedi, 27, to be blinded in both eyes from drops of acid in response to a plea from his victim, Ameneh Bahrami.
The punishment is legal under the sharia code of qisas, which allows retribution for violent crimes. The court also ordered Movahedi to pay compensation to the victim.
Bahrami was left horrifically disfigured after Movahedi threw a jar of acid in her face as she walked home from work in a busy Tehran neighbourhood in October 2004. She had previously complained to police about being threatened and harassed by Movahedi, who she had known while they were both university students, but had been told no action could be taken.
Now, the Bible also says that we should take an eye for an eye . . . more than once, for that matter!
Exodus 21:24
Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
Leviticus 24:20
Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.
Deuteronomy 19:21
And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
What would happen in the United States, a purportedly Christian nation (78% of the adult population identifies as Christian, and 26.3% as evangelical) if some sick, obsessed monster threw acid in the face of a young Christian girl?
Here’s one example:
Eric Warren, 29, of Cleveland, was sentenced to 13 years in prison Thursday for attempted murder and felonious assault in an attack on a Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority bus in July.
Warren pleaded guilty last month to throwing sulfuric acid in the face of Synethia May as she stepped off a bus near East 131st Street and Miles Avenue.
The acid burned 9 percent of May’s body — including her face, neck, arm and chest. Doctors induced a coma to ease her recovery, and May was hooked up to a breathing machine because she swallowed some of the acid.
Now, this young lady wasn’t blinded, but she was horribly disfigured.
The American goes to jail for 13 years (of which he MAY serve 8 or 9), and will be released. He’ll go on and live the rest of his life as a mildly-retarded burger flipper as though nothing happened. Is justice served here? He has not received the same disfigurement he handed out.
The Iranian gets what he gave. In fact, he got less than he gave because the victim of his abuse thought throwing acid on him was going too far!
Testifying in Movahedi’s presence, she told the court that she wanted “to inflict the same life on him that he inflicted on me”. Asked by the judge if she wanted Movahedi’s face to be splashed with acid, she replied: “That is impossible and horrific. Just drip 20 drops of acid in his eyes so he can realise what pain I am undergoing.”
The public prosecutor on this case comments, “If this sentence is properly publicised in the media, it will stop the repetition of such incidents. Awareness of the punishment has a huge deterrent effect in stopping social crimes.”
We support the punishment handed down by the Sharia court. In spite of their worship of a false god, the Muslims are in this case more Godly than the Christians.
Cases such as this are why we — along with the growing Christian Reconstruction movement — support the institution of Biblical Law throughout the United States.
Here’s an excellent article on Christian Reconstruction. Mr. Parsons boils down the Reconstructionist and anti-Reconstruction viewpoints thus:
If you see God as ruling the earth
1. Your commission is to subdue the earth and build Christian nations through evangelizing and discipleship.
2. You see Christian culture to be the only acceptable culture and you see all others as aberrations.
3. All of God’s world is holy and every activity in life is a religious activity to be seen as a spiritual work for God.
4. Reformation is expected.
If you see Satan as ruling the earth
1. You must just concentrate on saving souls from this evil world.
2. You see Christian culture as a counter-culture, a persecuted minority in an evil world.
3. Church activity is primary and spiritual, while worldly pursuits are secular and to be dealt with only as a necessity.
4. Reformation is impossible and suspect, since things must get worse before Christ returns.
So, which do you think is the more Godly approach to life? The folks over at www.raptureready.com prefer to hand the world over to Satan, and pray for Jesus to “take them home”. How Godly do you think they are for despising and abandoning His creation?
We’ll bring you a more in-depth analysis of this very article, along with other Christian Reconstruction resources and information, in February.

Since we’re talkin’ Bible here, I need clarification.
Is she his slave, or not?
Friend, your question makes no sense.
There is no indication that Warren attacked a woman he owned, and the Islamofascist did not own the woman he attacked.
A man cannot, under Biblical law, be charged with any crime for harming his slave unless the slave dies within the first 2 days of the injury. Does that help?
So Jenny… Are you saying that it is okay to own slaves? If your children disobey do you kill them? What part of biblical law do you wish to enact? Are you aware that you would have to overturn the constitution, repeal religious freedom and then decide which Christianity is the version everyone must follow. Are you going to start burning non believers at the stake.
Do you really think this is going to happen in your lifetime?
Do we (Paliban Mom and myself) have to keep answering the same questions for you every day, Benway?
Under Reconstruction, Biblical law will replace the Constitution. If you’ve ever bothered to read the Bible (which you repeatedly claim in your comments), you’d know that God allows slavery, and provides guidelines for it (old and new testaments). However, He does not require it. If a nation doesn’t want to have slaves, instituting Biblical Law does not in any way suggest that they will.
We’ve repeatedly provided you links on Christian Reconstruction/Dominionism. You refuse to read them, apparently.
Yes, we’ll have pages devoted to the subject in detail soon, but right now we’re still focused on transferring the content from the old site to the new.
So, here’s a liberal site you might actually read:

Sorry if I’m annoying you Jenny…
You didn’t answer whether you would stone your child if they disobeyed. But that’s cool. You also think it’s okay to kill your child if you don’t like the way it looks, provided it’s before the 30 day grace period.
I don’t have time to read every article you throw my way. I wanted to know HOW you are going to supplant our laws and constitution with biblical law.
The only possible way would be a forceful takeover or our country.
Is that what you are professing?
>YAWN< Read the articles.
We’re telling you what God’s Law says, not what we might or might not like.
God’s Law is what every single person who claims to be Christian must be following if he or she doesn’t want to go to Hell for ignoring His Law.
If you don’t like God’s Law, take it up with Him.
I did. I went to igod.com and asked him why it’s okay to kill your child within the 30 day grace period and he said it was because most defects can be detected by then. I guess it makes sense. But I don’t know. He could be pulling my leg.
And I’ve read all the articles. They were interesting in a scary way. Well. Keep up the good work. I have to go volunteer at the abortion center.
Paliban Mom,
The Iranian gets what he gave. In fact, he got less than he gave because the victim of his abuse thought throwing acid on him was going too far!
You forget that the court awarded compensation to the victim too! All in all, I think the punishment meets the crime ‘eye for eye’.
